Today I am very grateful that the drought has ended!
Here in Australia, my area has been officially in drought for 10 years, although we have been in parts of drought for a long time. From 1991 to 1995 we had "a long El-Nino" which was essentially a drought, and then from 1995 to 2000 we had something close to average rainfall.....
but still, a great deal of my life we have been in drought-like conditions.....
But at least that is over for now! :)
