Scanning

My parent's bought a negative scanner and I have been helping by scanning the 50 odd year backlog of photos.

And now we are done with that, I am scanning the physical photos that we didn't have the negatives of.

I will be posting some of my favourites in the next couple of posts

Woolworths selling inappropriate magazines

I recently read this post, and was shocked that Woolworths finds it appropriate to sell Zoo magazines.

 I tried to find an image of the cover so you know what I mean, but I don't think it is appropriate for this blog.

Please contact Woolworths here and let them know this is unacceptable

Olympics

I do love watching the olympics. Shame it is in London, due to the time difference, everything happens while I sleep!

I enjoyed the Opening ceremony, especially Rowan Atkinson.

I also love watching the gymnastics, but as Australia really isn't very good at it, I rarely get to see any :(

My leg

Just to let you know that my leg is much better, there is still a large scar (and will be for some time) but thankfully it feels much better

Sadness

My brother Stephen and his wife Louise are divorcing after 2 years of marriage.
Louise will be returning to the UK where she grew up and where her family still is.

I have no idea how to explain this to Rona, after 2 weeks of thinking, I still don't know

It was Father in Law's 60th birthday lately.
Rona sang "Happy Birthday" to her Grandad at least 3 times that day.
